I pwn you all. Accidentally salvaged a gold earth staff, rare skin, 9/10, +5 energy, 20% enchant. Got 17 planks out of it.

Here one that almost happened to me last night.

I got my Malinon's Shield for sell and i was in War Camp and typing out "WTS Malinon's Shield PM me..." Well, someone pm and say he was the shield for 90k. I thought sweet.. 90k is more than the current price of 80k. So i opened trade window. Once we get to that point, he show me 90 gold.. not 90k. And he did it twice.... both time i laugh at him for it and he finally close the trade window. This would be worst that i sold my Malinon's Shield for 90 golds!

Oh as for bad things... Salvage a +27 health axe grip and a +22 health staff head for crappy materials.

Those are small time scammers. They're often show 90 plat, then modify and show 90 gold and hope you accept. A few will switch out Grognar Swords with Falchions / Tribal Blades, etc.

I give a person 3 times to get it right or I close the trade window. I run into at least one of these bastards a day.

Better than me, I bought some Ascalon armor to test something really quick and then sold them.

Later on when I checked, I realised I had sold my 15k armor and not my Ascalon armor.

Remember that black dye spike? It was a while ago, but the price of black dye topped out at 26k!! I, like an IDIOT, waited for it to go higher.
The next day.. black dye = 5k.

I've had a few run-ins with dolts in my group. A couple just left for no reason, but it can't be topped by:
I was in a group for Defend North Kryta Province, and everything was going fine. We were kicking titan butt. Then, it turns out one of the players I was playing with was a scammer and a few people decided to take revenge on him. So, 4 of the people LEAVE THE STUPID GROUP RIGHT BEFORE WE WIN THE STUPID QUEST. All to get revenge on this person. Unfortunately, I was caught in the cross-fire... I had to start my week-long search for a worthy group ALL over again!

Well, hope you got a kick out of that....

Oh, and about selling the wrong items, I ALWAYS put all the items to be sold to merchant in a separate bag/pouch, even if that means I have to talk to the merchant twice.

1. Cleared about 80% of the UW - Chamber, Lost Vale, Icy Wastes, Twin Serpent Mountain, Chaos Plain, Spawning Pool, with only the bone Pits left when I got error 7

worse still, we hadn't been getting the rewards so I lost all that too.

2. Sold all my ecto for 8k each the day before it shot up to 15k each.

3. Sold a Major Vigor Rune to the trader by mistake

4. Had a gold max storm bow drop in the UW, but before I couild get it, the whoile party got kicked out due to a server crash.

It seems that many people are accidently selling things they never really ment to sell. Well im pretty sure everyone knows this, but for those who dont: If you want to sell all your items but want to keep certain items, then put them behind a quest item. I attempted Elona Reach no less then 18 times, with full groups, henchies, EVERYTHING, and I couldn't do it. I did Thirsty River with 4 people, without a Warrior or Elementalist in sight. >.> But for the life of me, I could not do Elona. Then, as it finally closed in, we were about 5 seconds from handing over the last Crystal...BAM!!!! Neterror7. I was so angry, I almost destroyed my computer screen. Yeah. Hardcore...
